Shiftee toured internationally for over 20 years, performing everywhere from sweaty DIY electronic basements to giant festivals to hardcore hip hop showcases to top 40 casino nightclubs. He launched a label, Alma Mater Records, which highlighted emerging underground club artists, and produced tracks with cutting edge acts like Cakes Da Killa, DJ Sliink, Coco & Breezy, Will Butler, and TT the Artist.
Seeing people react to music in so many different contexts, he developed a deep intuition for how music moves people, both physically and emotionally. It’s this real world experience that guides his mixing philosophy and approach, ensuring that each song he works on tells its unique story, reaches its sonic potential, and ultimately connects to its listeners.
